What do I need to use AIOS Pack?+
Claude — desktop app or Claude Code CLI. That's it. No subscriptions, no third-party accounts required. Optional: connect tools like Notion, GitHub, Gmail, or Slack via MCPs once you're up and running.
How long does setup take?+
5–10 minutes to install the files. First useful output within 30 minutes. The /init skill walks you through everything — it asks 7 questions, builds your memory system, and writes your first session summary. You don't need to configure anything manually.
How does the memory system work?+
Three layers. Layer 1 is MEMORY.md — permanent facts about how you work (updated when you say 'remember this'). Layer 2 is daily notes — what happened today, decisions, open loops. Layer 3 is a knowledge graph in life/ — entities like projects, people, and companies. A nightly extraction job runs at 2AM, pulls durable facts from your daily notes, and updates the entity files. By day 30, your AI has a rich picture of your work without you maintaining it manually.

Yes. Memory lives in .auto-memory/ on your machine — plain markdown files that Claude reads at the start of every session. Nothing is sent to a third-party service. If the files are in your workspace, your AI has context. If they're not accessible, it doesn't. It's files, not magic.
Will I get updates?+
v1 is yours to keep forever. Future major versions may be offered as paid upgrades — but what you buy today stays yours. The system is plain markdown and open to extend, so you can build on it yourself in the meantime.
Why does the price increase every day?+
